I’ve known Paige since she was 8 years old. She is her father’s daughter in every single way. Her zest for life is infectious with a warm smile that is contagious.
When I heard of their engagement, I knew their wedding was going to be as eclectic, unique and as individual as her personality. The result is a fun, outdoor ceremony at our home church on Isle of Hope with rustic, natural elements to add character and charm to their wedding weekend. And the Charles H. Morris Center in downtown Savannah served as the perfect backdrop for a reception filled with dancing, craft beer and good friends.
The color scheme is a fresh take on a more modern combination–mint green, grey and coral–with pops of navy to add some interest to the design. Girls wore mint green dresses while the guys sported grey suits with navy accents.
Flowers were never meant to be lush and overabundant; it was the use of natural elements like blue thistle, tree ring slices and swordfern fronds that added to the rustic elegance I was going for.
I couldn’t be happier to have been asked to play a part in Paige and Aaron’s wedding weekend and I am so glad I was able to deliver the perfect rustic wedding filled with charm and character. Enjoy these images captured by Caroline Howard of Caroline Ro.
