Mango Cobbler

Mango Cobbler

Serves 10 to 12

  • 12 ripe mangos, peeled and sliced
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 2 Cups self-rising flour
  • 2 Cups granulated sugar
  • 2 Cups milk
  • pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, milk and salt until smooth. Melt butter in a 9x13x2 inch baking dish. Pour sliced mangos over melted butter; top with flour mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
